Breakthrough

"Breakthrough" has an uplifting and almost magical feel to it. When I painted Breakthrough I was imagining that feeling when you see the sunlight bursting through dark heavy storm clouds after the sky has just had its show of dominant force. The storm clouds then disipate away and the sunny bright blue sky is overhead and you almost can't remember the storm at all.
